My Profile

Your profile shows your current skills, progress toward your goal role, and your check-in history.

Viewing Your Profile

Your profile is your personal skills dashboard. Here's how to access it:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the mobile dock (bottom navigation on mobile)
  2. Or navigate to any organization and look for "My Profile" in the menu
  3. Your profile shows your name, email, and organization role at the top

Understanding Your Skills

The "Skills (latest manager assessment)" section shows all your assessed skills:

  • Skill Name: Hover over any skill to see its code in a tooltip
  • Manager Check-in Level: The level your manager assessed you at during your most recent check-in
  • Not yet assessed: Means this skill hasn't been evaluated in a check-in yet

💡 Tip: Skills are typically assessed during 1:1 check-ins with your manager. If you see "Not yet assessed", schedule a check-in to discuss this skill!

Progress Toward Your Goal Role

If you have a goal role set, you'll see a progress section showing:

  • Target Role: The job role you're working toward
  • Skills Breakdown: Each required skill with its target level and your current level
  • Progress Indicators: Visual bars showing how close you are to meeting each skill requirement
  • Status: "Met" (green) if you've reached the target, or your current level if still working toward it

🎉 Achievement Unlocked! When you meet all requirements for your goal role, you'll see a congratulations banner at the top of your profile with confetti! This celebrates your achievement and shows you're ready for that role.

Your Check-ins Timeline

The right side of your profile shows your recent check-ins:

  • Date: When the check-in took place
  • Manager: Who conducted the check-in with you
  • Goal Role: The target role discussed (if any)
  • View Details: Click on any check-in to see the full notes and skill assessments

Check-ins are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first), so you can easily track your development over time.

Common Questions

Why don't I have a goal role?

Goal roles are set during check-ins with your manager. If you don't have one yet, ask your manager to set a goal role in your next 1:1 meeting.

Can I update my own skill levels?

No, skill levels shown on your profile are set by your manager during check-ins. This ensures consistency and fairness across the organization.

What's the difference between my current level and the target level?

Your current level is where your manager has assessed you to be right now. The target level is what's required for your goal role. The gap between them shows what you need to work on.
